Privacy Policy

Siwakorn Petchuchuay ("we", "us", or the "Operator") built the Nabtang mobile application (the "Service") as a Freemium personal-finance tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Nabtang you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Nabtang collects only the information needed to provide the Service:
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address, display name, and a stable user identifier from the sign-in provider. We do not receive your password.
- Financial data you enter. Transactions, wallets, categories, recurring rules, savings goals, borrow/lending records, and any notes or attachments (e.g. receipt images) that you create inside the app. This data is stored on your device and synced to our backend so it is available across your devices.
- Receipt scans & voice input. If you use the slip-scan feature, the receipt image is processed to extract transaction details. If you use voice entry, audio is transcribed on-device using Apple's Speech framework. Recognized text is then saved as a transaction; raw audio is not retained by us.
- Purchase information. If you subscribe to Nabtang Premium, our payments partner (RevenueCat / Apple) provides us with the subscription status and an anonymous identifier so we can unlock paid features. We never see your full payment-card details.
- Diagnostic & usage data. When the app crashes or encounters an error, we may collect technical information such as device model, iOS version, app version, the time of the event, and an anonymized stack trace.
How we use the information
- To provide, sync, and back up the data you enter in the app.
- To authenticate you and protect your account.
- To enable Premium features for paying subscribers.
- To improve reliability by analyzing crashes and diagnostic data.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising in Nabtang.
On-device machine learning
Nabtang uses an on-device Core ML model to suggest categories for new transactions. This model runs entirely on your iPhone — your transaction text is not sent to us or any third party for the purpose of category prediction.
Third-party services
The app relies on the following third-party services. Each provider has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:
- Supabase — backend database and authentication that stores the financial data you create in the app.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription state for Nabtang Premium.
- Firebase — used for hosting this website and for app diagnostics.
- Google Sign-In — used when you choose to sign in with a Google account.
- Sign in with Apple — used when you choose to sign in with an Apple ID.
Permissions the app may request
- Notifications — to remind you about scheduled or recurring transactions.
- Microphone & Speech Recognition — to transcribe voice entries into transactions, on device.
- Camera / Photo Library — to scan or attach a receipt image for slip-scan.
You can grant or revoke each of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Data retention & deletion
Your data is kept for as long as your Nabtang account is active. You can delete individual records inside the app at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, please email us at siwakorn.pcc@icloud.com from the address linked to your account.
Security
Communication between the app and our backend is encrypted in transit using TLS. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Children's privacy
Nabtang is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
